Appropriate lowest age in shaving pubes?

smooth is an ideal reached the younger generation by now. My daughter wants to shave clean (she knows I do), and others girls seems to expect this because of teasing. I don’t know if the other girls in her class are shaving or just not reached the point of growing pubic hair, but my daughter is the only one, and she is in later part of ten (few of them has started their periods and budding breasts, not my daughter, and none of them are teased for menstruation or about their budding). At least I think her being hairless would make her look pretty much my innocent girl again, and relieve her of the burden of early sexual signs, and then being safer from those who hunt sexual signs amongst the young. What is best to do, really, as she is so young?

I am not a mother that refuses that her child is growing up sexually, but concerned about her general well-being and safety. We have already had some little sex talks, because she would soon be hearing about sex a lot elsewhere instead, maybe then in more distorted ways. My problem is how far should I be liberal with her allowing her shaving smooth, with weight on this as a hygienic practice?

I don't understand if your talking about pubic hair how are other girls making fun of her is she walking around naked showing her privates to people she is very young I don't see why she should be made fun for that. As for age appropriate it really is up to her if she wants to shave then let her it doesn't have any bad side effects at least I don't see what the problem could be.
