Do you think my friend lied about passing on my number?

About a week ago I met this really nice guy named Aj at a boy who is completely obsessed with me (Named Joe)'s birthday party. We stayed up until 4am in the morning talking about anything and everything about eachother. At about 4am he had asked me to be...

his girlfriend and this is where I got worried.

He lives in a city about 5 minutes away from mine depending on traffic and I never got his phone number. Apparently this is where I made the mistake. Joe called me telling me that Aj had called him saying that he had a really nice time with me last night and that he didn't get the chance to ask for my phone number. I told him to give me my phone number and he said that he would. I called back Joe and he said that he had given Aj my number, but it's been a week and he hasn't called. I'm kind of becoming worried that he didn't in fact give him the number and that maybe Joe was jealous? Help please?

There are many things that could have happened, such as this Aj forgeting to call you, your friend forgot to give him the number, and embarassed, lied to you, or, even worse, the other guy just decided not to call you. You can always ask Joe for Aj's number, that way you can call him yourself.
