There are two types of people, those who dichotomize and those who don't. (sorry, couldn't resist).
It is very appealing to look at the world in terms of black and white. good vs. evil, right vs. wrong, friends vs. enemies, etc. In the real world things are more complicated.
I would say that your seeing the world in degrees rather than absolutes is a product of your greater understanding than the world itself changing.
Have you seen the Taoist yin yang symbol before? Just like how you think black white has a grey area, It shows that even the white and a little bit of black, and the black has a little bit of white in them.

Anyone agree with grey area?
well I used to think everything was black and white, good and bad if you will. But now I see that there is a mixing of both.. a gray area. If you look into anything and everything I think you will find a little bit of both. Any opinions?
