Any women take the birth control pill aviane?

Women have any ever took the birthcontrol pill aviane could you tell me about it and do it make you gain weight anywhere?

Aviane side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body;

sudden headache, confusion, pain behind the eyes, problems with vision, speech, or balance;

chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling;

Less serious side effects may include:

increased hair growth, loss of scalp hair;

changes in weight or appetite;

problems with contact lenses;

hey how are u? I have been on aviane since feb 08 and I have to say, knock on wood, it has been surprisingly really great to me. I have not gained any weight, in fact I have lost about 15 pounds since. I do not have any side effects aside from the usually spotting only within the first two months between periods. after that it has been smooth sailing! hope this helps, just remember every womans body is different! I read mostly negative comments about this pill and was very apprehensive to start it but im glad I did and I dont regret it at all. good luck to you girl!
