Any hypocrisy here ?

Asked by amblessed about 1 year ago, 13 answers.

N.O.W. (The National Organization FOR WOMEN), I say again, FOR WOMEN, is endorsing a man on the national ticket and not the WOMAN on the national ticket - the title clearly isn't 'FOR SOME WOMEN' - Hypocrisy meaning: an expression of agreement that is...

not supported by real conviction - Anyone see any hypocrisy here ?

I'm just throwing it out there, but it could be that NOW feels the policies of the Obama-Biden ticket will benefit women more than those of the McCain-Palin ticket.

NO...because the woman on the ticket, ie Palin, is against women's rights.

That is hypocritical to me.

NOW is pro-choice, and always has been...Politically, I think (hope) that is why they are supporting the Democratic Party...

As for their comments, the bashing on a personal level...even to the point of saying that her being a super mom, is degrading...hello?? Do I hear sour grapes?? I truly think so...

Amblessed, that is one of the most ludicrous questions you have ever asked. Would it have been hypocritical of you not support David Duke when he ran in 1988? After all he is white, and so are you?

Just because she is a woman, Palin's political stances are extremely anti-women.

rickd, I think you need to take a chill pill. I will accept your pro-life stance when I see you standing up against the death penalty, unnecessary war, unregulated guns and gun violence, and standing up for universal healthcare that saves lives, proper sex ed to prevent unwanted pregnancy, and strict regulation of imports to prevent tainted products from contaiminating our goods. Until then, your anti-abortion rhetoric is nothing but that... rhetoric.

Amblessed, dont be ridiculous. They are pro women, that is all women. If they dont believe someone's policies is in favor of women in general, it is really regardless what gender the person is, NOW is not going to base their support on a person's genitals

Rickd: Did you know that 70% of men are pro-life? But will never have to go through it themselves? Unless...
I don't understand how a man can justify what a woman can do to her body.
I mean it's her body, right?
So, I just want to know.
What gives a MAN the right to say what a woman can do with HER BODY!?

Hmm, I don't think its all that hipicritical but, Palin certainly has conservative principals.
I love the fact that she's pro life. If some women think this is hipacritical, then that's their choice. If I had a child out of wedlock, I wouldn't abort it. Since I'm pro life myself, Sarah will be perfect.
Its a blessing to have someone with special needs such as her son. Sorry amblessed if this won't help, but, I really don't think this question is hipacritical. Sarah Palin will stick up not only for women's rights, she'll stick up for the American people.

NOW is supporting the Obama/Biden ticket because it is best for women's rights.
Ambelssed - I know it is a hard concept for you to get, but women are intelligent, free- willed and understand that just voting for a vagina is NOT voting in their best interest.

I guess you really are having a hard time understanding that Palin, just based on the fact she is female, will not win her all the female votes.

LOL. You are an antiquated thinker.
We don't still stand around barefoot and pregnant.

If Palin were on the democratic ticket you would be attacking her to high heaven.

intesting You will accept amblesseds pro life stance when he stands against the death penalty

This is the most hypocritical thing I have ever heard. Liberals want to stop the death penalty of a person who has taken so innocent persons life but want to allow abortion (killing and innocent child in the womb) this child has rights and you aren't giving them any choice. The convicted murderer had a choice not to kill which is still a crime.

Liberals are the one who are supposed to be intolarant but can't handle an oppinion different than theirs. I don't know where you are getting your information, but to say that Palin is against women's rights is absolutely ridiculous. You only say that because you can't stand her conservative views.

I don't know how any true born again believer could be a democrat, because their stand on moral truths is contrary to the teachings of the Bible.
