Any guitar players out there?

Just wondering, because I have NO friends who also play the guitar,and things get dull whenever I start playin in front of them, because they just think its ever so awesome when I play the simplest song I know( Iron Man - Black Sabbath). It gets...

frustrating, because I start writing a song, and I can't really seem to finish it, and I need ideas, and my friends aren't nearly savvy in with it to even begin to tell me what is missing.

Me: A Dean Baby ML, 2007. Thrash Metal, Hard Rock, 90's punk, classic rock for stuff I like to play, and I write with a bluesy, metal, alt. kinda feel.

I have an acoustic Ibanez AEL20ETBS. I play mainly acoustic style stuff, whatever I happen to be listening to. No specific genre.

eey! I do, I used to play a lot but only a bit now, I've got a fender strat, an onyx and a couple of acoustic guitars and my dad collects them so hes got heaps of great ones. I've almost forgotten everythjing I could play now but it used to be stuff like rage against the machine and maiden. now I can play one old song called teenager in love, forgot what band but yer, thats an old song...also some stuff from the beetles and stuff

I have a fender 08 squier and im saving up for a dimond back those are kick butt and I play mostly heavy metal and screamo

was up im ricky I play a ibanez electric and I have a crate amp I play all kinds of rock, country, blues well just about anything lol im in a band and just let the songs come to you tis easier and better that way pluss when you get an idea write it down and keep up with it who knows what youll find

Crate sun-burst, I don't know what model it is but it has the body style of a fender strat (it was a gift from a relative)

Jeez, we got a lot of Strat peeps on here. Personally, I never liked the style...except for the Ibanez RG series, the necks on those are orgasmic.
