My favourite series of all time!!
My fave book is called Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson. This is what the back of the book says. :
During the summer of 1793, Mattie Cook lives above the family coffee shop with her widowed mother and grandfather. Mattie spends her days avoiding chores and making plans to turn her family buisness into the finest Philidelphia had ever seen. But then the fever breaks out. Disease sweeps the streets, destroying everything in its path and turning Mattie's world upside down. At her feverish mothers insistance,
Mattie flees the city with her grandfather. But she soon discovers that the sickness is everywhere, and Mattie must learn quikly how to survive in a city turned frantic with disease.

The Lovely Bones by Alice SeBold
A story of a young girl that gets raped then murdered. Then she lives in heaven watching as her mother cheats on her father out of depression, her father gets a heart attack, her sister falls in love, her little brother forgets, and her murderer covers up his tracks. This story brings sadness, tears, but hidden joy.
The Lovely Bones is a FANTASTIC book. I second that one! And 'Speak' too. Another fantastic book that I like to group with those two is 'We All Fall Down'. And forgive me, but I've forgotten the author.
Hm... If you're a fan of Tamora Peirce like myself, I suggest reading Holly Black. The book called 'Valiant' is my favorite.
Another good one is 'Poison' by Christopher Wooding.
Also, I think you'd enjoy 'Nobody's Princess' & 'Nobody's Prize' by Esther Friesner.
Another one of my favorite authors is Scott Westerfeld. The series 'Uglies', 'Pretties', 'Specials', and 'Extras' made me absolutely sob. He's incredible!
And, last, but certainly not least, 'A Great and Terrible Beauty', 'Rebel Angels', and 'The Sweet Far Thing' by Libba Bray is a series you might enjoy.
Happy reading! ^^

Any good books that you recommend?
I like a wide variety... Some of my favourite authors include Tamora Pierce, Garth Nix, Isobelle Carmody, and David Clement-Davies. I like fantasy, teen fiction, and a bit of sci-fi. I like historical fiction as well...
If you can think of any good books that fit these catagories(or good books that don't) could you tell me? I want some new books to read!
