Is there any chance that i'll grow taller?

hello all. well I am a 15 year old girl, I am only 158 cm tall, and its been bothering me a lot lately. I checked with a doctor a year ago, he said its been 3 years since I hit puberty ( I hit puberty at 11 and I check with the doctor when I was 14 )and...

that growth stops after 2 years, but not long after that appointment I grew a couple cm's
I've been talking a lot of vitamins and Fe pills, I've been practicing aerobis and losing weight for the past 3 months
any ideas how can I become taller???

Well, sorry to say, but it sounds like you may not grow much more. There is not a whole lot to do about getting taller either. But don't worry about it! I am five feet tall and the tallest girl in my extended family is only about 5'4!!! Talk about short! Besides, being short isn't always a bad thing! For example, you never have to worry about dating a guy shorter than you, so it is never awkward! Also, certain clothes look better on short bodies, like short dresses with high heels! Think of all of the benefits shortness can bring! Also, if you really look at the world, there are a LOT of short people out there, and even more that are a lot shorter than you! G-d created you and only one you, so if he wanted you to be short, than embrace your shortness!!! Learn to love yourself for who you are, short of tall, and everything else will work out!

It's true that girls grow until they're about 18, and boys stop around the age 20. I know that from my biology lessons at school and also from what happened to myself and all of my friends.

Some young teenagers grow very tall, very quickly, and then don't grow much more, so their friends catch them up more slowly. Some others grow much more slowly and steadily, and it sounds like you're one of them. I've never known a short person to stop growing at 15 - I think you have several more years of growing before you reach your final height.

How tall are your parents? That should give you a clue about how tall you will end up, although it doesn't always follow (I know some average parents with giant sons, for example!)

And unless you're actually overweight, I don't think that loosing weight will help you to grow taller - people on poorer nutrition don't reach their full height. This means eating healthily, but not necessarily loosing weight.

well my dad is about 170cm which is kind of short for an average heighted man, and my mom is 164 but my mom grew about 25cm in 2 years due to medication, her mom was worried about her hieght so more attension was given to her problem..
well I am over weight, about 12 KG over normal weight ( that would be about 25 pounds over weight )

I've grown a lot between 18 and 21. but theres no reason to worry yourself over height. theres a lot of short people in the world so obviously were doing somthing right
