What's advice for extremely damaged hair?

I have natural medium brown hair, but went to the salon to change it to a dirty blonde. 4 hours of stripping and bleaching later my hair is a ugly orange/red color and EXTREMELY damaged. I went to a new salon and she put in what highlights she could, but says I have to wait about 4 weeks to get more higlights. I am a bartender and honestly we get paid for our looks...I cant wait 4 weeks, so can anyone please help and tell me what I can do so I can go back ASAP??? Thanks so much!!

Hey, I think you should just go and get a some oil treatments for the damange. It usually helps for me.. you can go to the drug store and get them for under 5$ it really helps.

Why hello Becca...This is Sarah. I'm no hairstylist but my aunt is and this is what I'm working on. What I suggest you do is go to town, I would recommend Shoppers Drug Mart, and get the latest Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and conditionner and a spray-in conditionner. You can get it for dark, medium or light hair. Get the specific kind for your hair (Damaged) and wash your hair thouroughly, and than wash it a second time about 10 min later while you're in the shower. Than, apply in the palm of your hair, an excessive amount of conditionner. Leave it in for about 20 minutes when you get out of the shower and than rinse. Apply some spray in conditionner to your hair and leave set for about 4 minutes and blowdry. Your hair should be soft and silky. Hope this helps!

I don't know if this will help all , but There are some wigs out there that might have the colour you want and While your treating your hair, cover it with a wig that looks beautifully natural and snug to your head . . . if that works at all . . because you know , you Can hide your embaressing color you have now with the wig while you fix Your hair.

My hair is damaged too, your not alone and searching for the RIGHT answers to heal it up!

I answered your question in the main forum where someone asked how to go blonde or something, and you asked for advice for the first time. As a professional hairstylist I gave you some really good pointers. Check it out.
