Any advice for coughing?

Cool Hampster Picture Asked by rockingrl728 about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

I have a fever... It's a small one though. It's 99.1, so I still have to go to school.

But the thing is, I cough way too much. I tried cough drops, and cough syrup, but it doesn't work. Also, I keep losing my voice.

Today in science class was really...

bad... I was coughing like mad, with a cough drop, which of course didn't help. I also had a partner in it, and I was worried about getting him sick as well. And I even tear when I cough a lot, so that makes it embarrassing, because it looks like I'm actually crying.

So are there any good ways to get rid of this cough? I really don't want the same thing to happen in science class tomorrow... I'm still working with my partner, too...

if it is a viral infection there really isnt too much you can do (have you tried cough suppressant?)

but if it is bacterial you may need an antibiotic

they say for coughs ginger is good, and honey? try heating some up in water?

The other post says that hot tea with honey is a great cure. I have bad coughs these days. I tried hot tea with honey, it really soothes my throat. Drops with honey is also good. Honey is good when your throat is dry. If your throat is kind of wet, try salt with hot water.
