Also, you have Windows Virus Scanner. Zone Alarm Spy Sweeper.

You want a Scanner/Sweeper/Firewall that will protect you against; viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware and adware.

McAfee Norton both allow you free trail time periods to test out their product, you can also go to your local Best Buy, Office Max, Wal-Mart, Staples, Circuit City, Etc... And usually buy a nice software product for as low as $29.99 and up...
