Anti-consumerism

What's your view on anti consumerism? do you think it's a good way of recycling for some and helps the world, or is it an easy way off and do you think that people should pay for their own food? any other thoughts?

Well, there's a bit of a difference between the gaining of material possessions for desire and the necessity to survive by buying things like food.

While everyone should earn their own keep, it's to difficult to place everyone under one label...different people have different needs, and things like consumerism need to be looked at on an individual basis and not as a general whole - nothing should ever be categorized.
