Answer ratings?

When looking at answers to questions, what happened with rating them?
I noticed some changes to the site and I was just wondering why answer ratings stopped.
Is it because of the changes to the site? or something else?

We are going to add it back...we just have a lot of stuff to do before we can tackle that issue. The report abuse is the best way to go for something where an answer is mean, cruel, wildly off topic, breaks the rules, is factually incorrect, etc...

The only option that was removed was the option to rate down. Some people were using it to abuse others, and therefore, it was removed.
