I want to lose some weight

I weigh 170lbs. Im 5feet 8inches. Please dont respond saying how I should love myself please. My question is, if I follow a good diet which would be more effective..crunches or running. And when you pick one please say how much of it I should do a night....

Also, I need to keep the weight off so which would be better for that? Im aiming at losing about 20-25lbs. Thank you.

Cardio at least 3 times a week. (biking, jogging, running. )
drink tons of water.
50 sit ups every night
30 push ups every night
EAT HEALTHY.
3 times a day. 3 healthy snacks in between meals
don't eat 3 hours before you're going to sleep
and.. you don't have to answer any of my questions

Well,

Crunches, to help tighten up your abdominal muscles,
I do, depending on my mood, 30 to 200 a night.
Start out with 10 or 20 though.
You're tummy will hurt in the morning if yo do too much at one time.

also, Try jogging in the morning, it'll tighten up your calves and what not.

But crunches are more effective!

crunches would only target your abs which could help but over all if you want to lose weight all over it would be best to stick with your diet and go jogging. jogging is better than running. because it is better cardio, it helps it build up and stay rather than when you run or sprint your heart rate goes up then when you get tired it goes down then up again and so on. it is better to keep your heart rate up and steady. and believe it or not eating and nutition is more important than the excercise part. of course both are important and more effective. but if you can diet right then you will be doing great. remember 80% nutrition/diet and 20% excersise.

oh and if you jog about 20 minutes a night that would be great and slowly move your way up to 30 min. then maybe 45 min. and once you finish running it wouldnt hurt to do about 50 crunches.

I weighed 160 last year and all I did was just eat a little less and drink water and go runnin for like an hour like ever other day and now I weigh 123
