How do I convince my mom to lemme get a myspace???

Just tell her you'll give her your password and e-mail.
I think it would be an effective way to make sure your being safe on there.

I went through this with my daughter. I sooo did not want her to get one. Tell her you will give her your password information and you will keep it private and only add local people your age that you know. And stick to what you agree with. My daughter got hers that way.

maybe if she had your password and email, so she could check,
she would feel better about you having one.
or maybe you could get your mom to get one too,
that way so would understand there not that bad and she could check on yours.
also, it would be good to point out the good, safe parts on myspace.
like how your profile can be private, and you can only get adds if they know your last name.
