I dont have any notes on these. Could someone let me know what you get and how you got your answer? Thank you for your help by the way.

ok well. -3b+9=9-3b. what you need to do is find out what b equals. so, you undo each side so you can get the variable (b) on one side. sounds hard, but it's simple when you think of unplugging. ***WHATEVER YOU DO, MAKE SURE YOU DO IT TO THE OTHER SIDE. IF YOU DO SOMETHING ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE EQUAL SIGN, DO IT ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE EQUAL SIGN.

-3b+9=9-3b
-9 -9
___
-3b=-3b
___ ___
-3 -3
b=b
so b is any number.

yahh sorry it got messed up somehow when i posted it. likee you can do a check for it. someone said 2. whch would be right. you can plug it in. but you can also plug in another number, like 4.
(-3 x 4)+9=9-(-3 x 4)
12+9=9--12---when you see -- (subtracting a negative number) -- means ADD. an easy way to remember this is if you take one of the minus signs andput it on top of the other minus sign it forms a plus sign. anyways, back to business.
so,
12+9=9+12
21=21
trust me any number works. i am the top female math student of my school and won awardss.

-3b+9=9-3b
Because you have 'b' on both sides of the equation, you need to do something to both sides of the equation.
-3b+9=9-3b so because you have a positive 9 on both sides, subtract 9 from each side
-9 -9
-3b=-3b - by adding the opposite of +9 to both sides, i figured out that b is equal to b, thus b could be any number
