Another language for my daughter

My daughter(left) and her cousin Asked by miomiomio about 1 year ago, 5 answers.

My daughter is currently bilingual in English and Spanish, but I feel bad that I do not know any other languages myself to teach her. I would like to know how to add at least one other language into her repitua.
I would really love for her to learn...

French or Portugese, simply because it would be easier for her to become literate in those languages that say, Chinese or Greek, as the letters are written in the same way.
Any ideas?

teach her turkish (it's fun) and she can learn it at this age but you need someone who can teach her how to move her mouth and how to say the letters, spell the words, the letters, etc. letters are english but there are some new weird things in them!!
yes it's kinda hard for her maybe, but she might have fun cause it's pretty funny when you hear some words and some letters!! and through turkish she might learn some arabic words and arabic letters, cause turkish has a little bit of arabic in it! so she can get to learn arabic easily later if she wants!! but it's better to teach her french first!! forget the arabic it's not that important !!!
(I'm just suggesting the turkish)

I think you're expecting too much of a child who isn't even 3 yet. When you say you feel bad that you don't know another language to teach her, do you mean that you feel inadequate? Compared to the rest of us, she's miles ahead already.

Why not wait till she's 5 or 6, and then send her to French Immersion school? What's the hurry? I think it can be stressful on a child to be having things thrust on them at this age.
