Another felon.

I am a felon in Missouri that wants to get into OTR Trucking. Why? I just do ok? We all know the difficulty I am facing. I do have a Class B CDL with an X endorsement (Tanker, HAZMAT). I drove a Straight Truck for three years (post conviction) but I can't even get a Delivery Driver job now. I need to be trained to drive a Class A Truck but I can't get anyone to listen after I say I am a felon. I am willing to go to most any state if I can get into the field. After a couple of years driving my felony won't be as big a deal.
Any advice other than the usual ' You're SOL'?

maybe if you do some community service or something it will show employers that youve changed.
