Another boyfriend vs ex-boyfriend senario

My Ex-Boyfriend I broke up a few years ago. My current boyfriend I have been together for half that time.

My ex, who is sweet, is now telling me he loves me (he didn't ever say it to be before) and my current is also a sweetheart, who tells me...

everyday he loves me.

I know I love my current b/f but not like I should (problems in our relationship has dimmed the flame somewhat) and I wish I could go back in time to before it changed. My ex makes my pulse race my heart pound when I see him.

Part of my heart say's go back to the ex (whom I've never stopped loving but broke up with because he used to drink a lot) but the other part of me says stay with the current b/f whom I feel obligated to because he has done so much for me/my family. I care about him very much, but I don't think I'm in love with him.

I am too old to be dealing with this - yet I feel like I'm the only one!

sometimes we cant help who we love but while your mind is saying stay with your current boyfriend I think you should get back with your ex.

FORGET THE EX! He never said he loved you while he was with you, and now he is saying it? You cant be that gullable. You havent been together years ago, and hes coming around telling you he loves you? If my ex did that I would seriously laugh in his face...especially when we dont even communicate anymore.

Ex is past tense, and you cant have a healthy productive future if you keep living in the past. An ex will always have a piece of our heart, but you broke up for a reason, and its best just to leave things the way they are!!
