I dont think that's very healthy... talk to you doctor I guess.
maybe you're so very thin cause you excercise a lot, which would cause you to have a high metabolism too.
do you eat the normal kinda food in normal amounts?
like 3 meals a day etc.
oh wow I think you do have a little bit of a problem.. you should weight a lot more to be in the healthy range.. but that is just me
that's extremely underweight, I'm not quite sure if one can acheive such a low weight by exercising a lot..your 'obsession' with dancing could be the cause, like you're afraid to gain weight for fear of becoming a bad dancer. if this is the case you should really get some help cause it's not psychologically healthy.
if you truely don't think you have an eating disorder, then talk to your doctor about getting something to help you gain weight because you are severely underweight and are at high risk for a multitude of health problems.
I have always been athletic and enjoy rigorous exercise however I also believe in being healthy. Are you keeping your caloric intake at the recommended levels? My daughter is 8 and she is a dancer as well and has been since she was four(no worries I am not one of those freaky moms, I let her dance b/c she likes it and if she decides not to anymore I will not make her continue). She has a new dance instructor (whom is a physical therapist in our local schools), and she works the kids and adults pretyhard. My daughter has thinned out ( not that she needed to) but is very lean, and she just weighed in at 62 pounds. You should also be concerned that your body weight will also affect your hormonal release, cycles and could possibly cause long term issues with your bones, and the list goes on. Please take care of yourself.

According to BMI, and just by looking at you, you're WAY under weight.
talk to d doctor...I c that you are skinyyy!!!please talk to the doctor...I really want 2 help u...but your healthy weight is 110 lbs
shoot. you must be anorexic. that coulod be dangerously underweight. if youre a ballerina or not, that is unhealthy. see a dietician or a doctor. I dont want you to die.

my mom is concerned with my weight
she thinks I am to under weight
but I dance ballet
and if I gain the smallest amount of weight
my director gets on my case
I feel I need to be the size of the girls
that dance that are years younger then me
im only 17 and im 5'7 and I weigh 72 lbs
I eat 3 times a day
just small amounts but I dance over 8 hr a day
and work out at least 2
I need ot know if this is wrong of me to do
or if there is a easy medium
because my mom is so worried.
