Annoying friends

Hey. What do you think I should do? My friends were relly good friends before, but like lately(after I told them about my ed) they...I guess started to treat me differently. I've noticed 2 of my friends seem mad at me or something and trys to hid it, but...

not relly well. I think they want me to tell my dad about my ed. But I tell them I wont. Im usually emotional, and one of my friends I think wants me to just get help and stop asking her for help. But thats the thing, I dont want help or be treated like a dissabled kid. Basically the only reason why my friends are not ignoring me or yellin gat me because they peobably think if they do they wud make me more depressed and then of course id go cut myself, and I think they dont want to be apart of it. I relly just want to have fun, but they always make me feel worse. Tomorw we have schoool dances, and I relly just want to have fun. What shud I do? I know there going to bring up my ed/ cutting at somepoint and just ruin my fun.

I'd like to help you but what does ED stand for?

If they bring it up, it's probably because they care about you and want you to get professional help for your eating disorder and your self-mutilation problems.

Maybe you're being the annoying friend seriously if one of my friends were cutting and had an eating disorder and considered it fun, I'd probably treat you the same way. They're being FRIENDS. You need help, cutting and starving yourself or whatever isn't a norm, maybe it's time somebody did ruin your fun before you really hurt yourself.

I think you friends are just wanting you to get help because they are worried about you. I think you should get some help at least for them since they are your friends an they seem to care about you an don't want nothin to happen to you

They are worried about you and not quite sure how to treat you... give it some time, when they realise you arent made of glass things will get back to normal. In the mean time I suggest you get help, them knowing but not being able to help is a huge burden you place on them...

Imagine if you knew a friend of yours was hurting themselves and could die because of it, but you couldnt do anything but watch... And if she did die you would feel like it was your fault because you could have told and gotten her help, but you didnt because you didnt want her to be mad at you, so you hover and you watch and you try not to upset her incase she does anything...

Cut your friends some slack, you've put them in an awkward position. Just be grateful that they care enough about you to be worried about you.

uhm for those who are saying that I think cuttin gis fun..no. I meant that I want to have doing normal things, like party and go places. I dont think that my ED and cutting myself is fun.

I told my friends I had an ED and that I was cutting no joke and they said ok.
