Anniversaries

So yesterday was my boyfriend and I's 5 month anniversary... well he's been working all week and I figured he would forget... it got to be about 5:00 and he still hadn't said anything... I sent him a text and asked where he was... he sent back and said...

that he was taking home somebody that he worked with and he was going to be working on a part for his car there for a little while... so I said oh... well happy 5 months... ttyl... then he sent back and said oh god, I'm so sorry baby. on my way home I will stop and see you, I promise.... I expected him to forget, but it still hurt a little... so anyway, he came to see me like he said he would... I'm just getting over my period so we couldn't do much, but we drove up the road to the fairgrounds and parked and messed around a little... I guess I don't have a real question here... but I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts... and I guess I'll just ask.. what do you consider to be the important anniversaries? I figure the first real anniversary would be 6 months... what do you think?...

Anniversaries are the yearly recurrence of the date of a past event, so I would consider an anniversary by the year, not months. I've never heard of a 5-month anniversary.

me and my boyfriend celebrated monthly, its really up to u, if you want to celebrate by the month, thats what you do, if it hurts, tell your boyfriend make sure he remembers.
