if you are 15 then I would ask your doctor. but... dude you are only 15. If you are almost duncing at that age you will be able to dunk in no time at all. Work on your leg strength. Jump rope. Do squats, run bleachers. You can build strength in your legs with out ancle weights.

It would probably best if you asked your Doctor....he/she would be able to assess if it would have a positive effect on your body given your age and other factors

should I buy ankle weights for basketball do they work and will they stunt my growth cause I'm only 15 and I can almost dunk I can get like half my hand in the rim so I'm thinking if I use the ankle weights I dunk easy then
