Okay I need some help here...
I am a going to be a freshman this year and I am feeling kinda down because 1.) I made jv and my best friend keepy bragging and saying little comments about her making varsity... which hurts...

was pretty and now I just feel like I am soo ugly and everything... I feel like I dont belong where I am everyone at school has long hair and I have short hair and I just dont know what to do right now...

hey dont worry sweetie, highschool is nothing. really its not what you think it is, movie and tv shows just add the drama. and dont worry about your short hair, no one is gonna care its different. you even might inspire some people, and they might wanna cut there hair short too.
and your friend who keeps bragging to you really shouldnt if she knows it hurts you, thats not a true friend.
and try not to put yourself down because the little things that make you feel self concious will seem even worse if you think too mush of it.
I bet your probably really pretty adn you need to keep thinking that
and if you want just try to enfisize the prettyest parts of you
for example for me I try to make my eyes look dramatic so they will stick out
that way know one will noticed the parts of me I feel self concious about
and remeber just try to have fun in highschool, because its a whole new world from there, and you shoudl have fun adn enjoy being a teenager, and dont worry about the other stuff.
