How is the universe infinite?

Supposedly the Universe is in fact Infinite.

But how could this be if the Universe formed from one single specific point?

The universe happened all at once. God created the world in the beginning and he continues to bring life into all of us everyday!

'Dark energy' in theory acts opposite of gravity causing things to push away from each other , thus expanding the univers.
