American idol's sanjaya malakar: good or bad?

What are your opinions on the American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar?? Every talk show I watch always slams him and makes fun of him. They constantly say he's not good enough for the position he has now. Some even say he's 'killing' the show. I, personally, do not find him that bad. I think he has a great voice and is capable of going far in life.

I dont know! I havent heard his voice yet.....I think people are just jealous and they need a life!

I love his smile =D it brightens up my day!!! and hes an alright singer I think his commercialism(ie. his look) is why hes still here and I think that he would have a good album at firt then probably fade away like most of the idols.

He would never had been noticed if it wasn't for American Idol and Howard Stern. He is cute in a weird way, but his singing abilities are not even close to any of the other contestants. He really should not have been able to go this far! If he wins I think that the show won't make it . People want an Idol not a little boy that can't sing!!! Blake should win he has the whole package! GO BLAKE!!!!

I think he's bad, and so does the 'vote for the worst.com' site that is voting for him because he's the worst. on american idol, they let through the really good ones, and the really bad ones, but not the others that are pretty good, and can improve. (also simon said he'd quit if sanjaya wins,) but the 'vote for the worst' site basically thinks 'if they want bad people to make it through, then we're going to go and make them the winner, to prove a point.'
