Amature animation

I am looking for an animating program I can download for free. Even a demo would be alright. Got any idea's?

Well PhotoScape is sort of a basic animation program,totally free,I use it for animations I make. No trials.

triple w blender dot org
they have an open source (FREE) 3D animation software.
They used it to teach local kids how to make animations.
Via their Gallery Page you can see some of the movies created using their software.
