Eight years is a long time to wait for someone! He might not even be the same person when he gets out. You need to move on with your life. Lonely or not, if you truly loved him, you wouldnt have let your guard down. Its your life, only you can choose which path to take.
Good Luck!!
It is nice that you support him as you can, but that is normal if you satisfy your sexual drive. He is who is in prison and not you.

Am I wrong to have cheated on my boyfriend while he's in prison?
MY BOYFRIEND GOT LOCKED UP A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO, HE WAS SENTENCED TO 8 YEARS IN FED. PRISON, I LOVE THIS MAN a lot, I GO VISIT HIM EVERY MONTH I WRITE TO HIM AND I SEND HIM MONEY WHENEVER I CAN, BUT.... RECENTLY I WAS WEAK BECAUSE I've BEEN SO LONELY FOR SO LONG, I HAD A ONE NIGHT STAND WITH SOMEONE, DOES THAT MEAN I DONT LOVE HIM? AM I WRONG ? WHAT SHOULD I DO?
