Am I weird for listening to to many different types of music?

ok so my favorite genre is ska and screamo. but I like heavy metal ,rock,punk,pop,county, and anything really except rap,hip hop,polka. a lot of people make fun of me and say I have no life seeing as all I do is listen to music, but its not my fault that my boyfriend is in a band so whenever I see his band play I get to listen to all sorts of new bands. and I get to meet a lot of cool people too.

No, on the contrary, you are well-rounded and appreciate different forms of the musical art. The people who are weird, are the ones to ignorant to explore new genres, and expose themselves to different styles of music.
The music we enjoy today exists, because the composers ;istened to and learned from diverse styles of music. Rock 'n Roll, for example, is a combination of Afro-American blues, R&B, Rock-a-billy, Country, etc. ALL MUSIC IS GOOD!
EXPLORE...there is a huge world of various music from cultures all around the world.
Reccomendation: listen to King Sunny Ade... he blends traditional Nigerian music with Rock, and Beat music. Truly amazing performer!!!

Not many people like different types music, they usually prefer one specific genre, and I have no problem with that. It's good that you like different music because it gives you more knowledge of how other music appear. So...no, listening to different music is not weird.
