Yes, you're underweight. If you were still a teenager or a child, I'd say it would barely be okay to be that little...but kids have fast metabolisms and run around a lot. However, you're an adult and although you're only eighteen your metabolism's slowed down or should have slowed down by now. You should weigh between 107-141 pounds, although I think 107 is a little too low, and 141 is a lot too high. A good weight for you would be 115-120..For now, I would increase your intake by 500 calories, and you should gain one pound a week. If you are still having trouble, slowly add calories every week. If you are having trouble gaining weight there are special shakes designed for intentional weight gain. Lifting weights would be good as well so you can build some muscle while getting some meat on your bones. Good luck! Remember, you should always talk to your doctor before making any changes in diet/activity so he or she can make sure it's safe.
