Did my boyfriend break my hymen or am i a virgin?

i dont know if im still a virgin or not. My ex boyfriend and i called ourselves having sex but he was having complications getting it in but afterwardsi was bleeding for days and it burned when i went to the bathroom. I went to the doctor because the...

bleeding was heavy and i was in alot of pain. So when i went to the doctor i had a bladder infection and they said the most common way to get that is when a female begins having sex but i want to know did he break my hymen and am i still a virgin or not

Hymens have nothing to do with sex or virginity. Most girls tear or stretch their hymen in childhood or around puberty from fingers, tampons, and even running and jumping. If you had sex, you are not a virgin whether your hymen is intact or not.
