Am i selfish?

Is loveing urself so much you dont want to get hurt a bad thing. people keep telling me im selfish...how do I be unselfish without getting hurt?

Psychologists tell us that we must love ourselves before we can love others.

Personally, I think that a healthy amout of respect should be mixed in there along the way.

I should think, that if love and respect is going all the way around, then any hurt encountered is never intentional and is kept to a minimum.

You are just being protective nothing is wrong with that. Never feel bad or selfish cause you love yourself.
