Am I pregnant?

I was off of birth control for about a month and a half. Durring that time I didnt have me period. (take note I was on birth control for over 8 years) I just recently started taking my birth control pills again. And I was into the third week of the bill when I started to have my period. Its a week early. But its weird because I have it for like 3 hours, then I dont have it till the next day then I have it for 3 hours. I am not bleeding like I normaly do. could I be pregnant?

If you had unsafe sex anytime...even on the pill if you don't take extra precautions there is always a chance. Being on the pill for such a long time can cause different effects in different women. Some have a hard time to ovulate and some ovulate like crazy and more then once a month. So if you are engaging in sex there is always a chance. Do you increase your chance with unsafe sex...OF COURSE. Get tested and always use a condom even when using the pill.

When you stop the pill you usually miss a month, and starting back up will give you it anytime during the month and it will be light for the first couple months until it gets back on track. I'm not saying your not pregnant, if you have had unprotected sex there is always a chance.Take a test. You could still get pregnant even while being on the pill, they only work 99% of the time, so if you dont want a kid, where a condom.
