Am i pregnant since i got two periods?

This is a bit embarrassing for me because I never ask for advice online.
Anyway
My boyfriend and I had sex about 1 week ago and we did use a condom but it broke and I am not on any contraceptives. A day before we had sex I stopped my period. the...

next day I went to get an emergency contraceptive (morning after pill) and then everything seemed fine. but the problem is that I got my period again on saturday the just passed. I don't know why, is that normal to get your period a week after your last period.
I spoke to one of my friends that has kids already and she told me that just before she got pregnant she also had her period twice in one month and it was1 week and a half after each. Next thing she knew is that she was preganant.

So all I want to know is that is there a possibility that I could be pregnant?
Can I take a pregnancy test while I have my periods?
I am planning to take it when my period is over.

If you're having a flowing period you're not pregnant. Facts show that if you spot while being pregnant there's most likely something wrong and it could lead to miscarriage if not checked out by a doctor. I doubt that you're pregnant and you should wait 10-14 days after you've had sex to take a test if you still want to make sure.

I took the dayafterpill and I had all signs of it, (the backaches, tenderness of breast ect) after all that, I felt FINE. then like the week after I got my period (note I had sex on my period) so that got me a little scared. A friend of mines said she had that too. it could be cause the pill worked and its just cleaning you out or something OR it could be you are.
I took the test on saturday, it said I'm not.

Well, women using the morning-after pill may experience a change in their next period. It may come early, on time, or be late. I'm thinking the second period might have been spurred on by the Plan B pill you took. It is usually very effective at preventing pregnancy when taken correctly, and I think it's a smart thing that you're using condoms and have the initiative to get Plan B when it broke.

Since I'm not a Doctor, the best thing to do is take the test. You can take the test even with your period. But from what I understand, this second period is not indicative of pregnancy and more a result of the morning after pill.
