Am i overweight?

yes well im 5'6 and weigh 100 and im slightly underweight. just do a bit more exercise and have a balanced diet and you should come down to normal.

You ARE normal. You are NOT, in any way, shape, or form, fat.

The above poster who states she is 5' 6 and weighs 100 pounds? Her BMI is 16.1 which is definitely underweight. Anything below 18.5 is considered underweight. EAT something!

However, torimate IS correct about eating a balanced diet and exercising. Do it for your health...not to lose weight because you think you are fat. You are NOT.

Torimate that is pure insanity. Why should she loose weight. There is NO ideal weight. IT'S called a MIRROR. She is normal. If you look fat you are! You Ideal weight is absolutely meaningless.

No, you are not, you are healthy with a BMI (body mass index) of 19.934. A BMI of 18-24 is considered normal (healthy)
BMI is arrived at by dividing your weight by your height-squared and multiplying that number by 703.
You're at a healthy weight for your height.

I'm pretty sure you know you're a fine weight.. you just want people to tell you that cause you like the esteem booster. It's not a bad thing.. we all do it..

and also.. 80% of the U.S is obese.. so I wouldn't even worry about being slightly overweight. I'm not the skinniest of people.. and I don't give a damn what people say about it. Weight is entirely overrated. Don't worry about it.
