You don't have to be doing sexual things all the time in order to be giving your part in the relationship. As long as you're both putting your effort into the relationship than you have nothing to worry about. You obviously care about each other and are happy with things if you decided to live together.

You're not behind. It's your body you should do what you're comfortable with. Don't feel pressured with what you should be doing, and don't worry about what your friends are doing. Sex is private and should stay that way (unless you like being an exhibitionist).
