You should use an alternate form of contraceptive for the first cycle.

Although it's less likely to get pregnant while on your period, it's not impossible.

your are at risk...when you got the pill you should have been told that you need to wait atleast a month for it to take effect and for your chances of becoming pregnant to decrease...however that doesnt mean you shouldnt wear a condom just incase because birth control isnt 100%...if he didnt cum inside of you your chances of being pregnant are veyr very low. it doesnt really matter what day your started the pill on what matters is hwo long you have been on it...you can become pregnant on your period but I would ask your doctor when your ovulation cycle is...mine occurs spanning my period so I can become pregnant while on my period but thats me...and you can only become pregnant for like one day a month thats what I learned in biology class.
