Could I be a lesbian?

I know what your going to say. Your the only one to know, right? Well, I am confused. Let me explain. I have not had a 'crush' on a boy since I was in like the 5th grade. I am 18 years old now, and I still have not liked a boy since around that time. Sure, I find some cute, but I don't drool over it and have fantasies. Wow...but if I see a girl who is beautiful, I think about her in a totally different way. I am attracted sexually to girls, if I am attracted to guys it is very little. To be forward with you. I don't like the look, feel, or anything about a Pen*s. When I see a nice girl I can easily get excited, but a boy it does not phase me as much. The thing is I have never had a crush on a girl before...

Despite popular belief, most people (women especially) are not completely straight. Most are somewhere in-between - it's a spectrum with a lot of possible degrees, not just three strict points, straight bi or gay. Some people like one sex mostly, and the other just a little; some like both equally; some like just one, some like none; some like both but only want to be physical with one; and some are just curious - and all of those are fine. Most women have curiosities about other women, and at some point in their lives have tried intimacy with other women, even if after that they realize it was fun but not what they really want... And then they go on and marry men and have big happy families with them.

Another thing. Until very late and until they have enough experience to get used to it, most girls hate the look and feel of a pen*s. Some women never grow out of that - they hate giving oral, they only do it to please their men. So at 18, it is VERY normal for a girl, any girl, to be disgusted by a pen*s. It's an acquired taste that comes with exposure and the right guy.

Also, some people confuse attraction with other feelings, like admiration, compassion, emotional closeness, and so on. If you get along with girls better, identify with them, admire their beauty, and want to be close to them, that doesn't mean you're attracted to them in the sexual sense of the word.

But again, 18 is way too young to know exactly who you are and what you like, so the best thing you can do is try, try both, get comfortable and with time you will find what you really like and want. Don't judge your orientation by teenage confusion. You're still growing.

I'll give you myself as an example. I'm a girl who grew up liking boys, but was kinda boyish myself and very disgusted by penises until very late... until college, actually. Then I started actually dating boys, and the more time we spent together, the more I got used to how they look and feel naked. It took long, but now I'm okay with, and even turned on by penises... In the meantime, I found I also like girls. On the street I turn around after the girls not the guys, I imagine them naked, I'm turned on by their butts and boobs... I tried making out with girls a few times, but I found that what's missing was the manliness of men, haha. You know, the big protective guy who can lift you up or open the door for you, or stand up for you in front of another guy... Whereas a girl is just a girl like you. Now I know I like both, but for dating I prefer guys. And I'm fine with that.

Go experiment and find your comfort level. And don't make any conclusions until you are at least well into your 20's.

You mention the look, feel, or anything about a Pen*s.' Indicating that you have had some intimate contact with a guy, right? Has your experimentation and exploration encluded a girls body? Other than your own? At some stages of sexual development there is a curiousity that demands investigation. Exploration is ok and in fact healthy. Your being repulsed by guys and attracted to girls at this point may point back to something deeper and perhaps even in your forgotten past. Before you make solid commitment to your lifes sexual prefferances try to get some help with why you have abnormal feelings about boys/men? Good Luck

Have you did anything with a guy or a girl? Just experiment with both and see what you like. Im bi and I dont care what people think of me and im proud of it.; If you never have did anything with a guy and only seen pornos are something you might be like me I use to think it was sooo nasty and that id never touch one or do anything but then the first time I did I was drunk because I wantrf to and the guys I was with wasent and I trusted them and they watched after me so I didnt do anything stupid and I was with guys that I knew I wouldnt regret it and to this day I dont I had a great time

yea, about yur ?. if you think you are, then experiment because maybe you only like girls from the outside or somethin. look I'm trying to sound smart but I can only tell you what these other two have been saying. Im gay , but like you I didn't really realize it until like 3 months ago. a friend told me to experiment and come to find out, I now realize who I am and I'm proud of it. but yea. just try to take these words of wisdom from somebody who went through the same thing.

Ok. I have done everything with a girl, and found it very exciting. I love it. With a guy, I have done everything put sex, the kind haveing a pen*s inside me. I do not like doing stuff with guys, if I saw a naked man and a woman, I would go for the girl. I have had many experiences with both. I dont admire there beauty, well I do, but that is not did. I like them sexualy, and guys I don't at all....or extremely little. If I do, I just like the way they look. A guy has anice body, but do I want to be close with him.

No. If I see a nice girl, nice boobs and butt, I start fantasing. I dont have much abnormal feelings, I jsut trust woman more, I have always been around my mother more then my father. No, he was always GREAT dad, just always closer to woman. I first knew I was attracted to woman when I was in Gym, in the pool, and I kept stareing at the girls and I could care less about a guy. I'm 30 years old, I didn't discover my true sexuality until after I was married and with a child. I was in my early 20's then. We just kinda shruged it off as being bisexual and I started to date women (yes while I was married). A couple years ago I finally discovered that I'm a Lesbian and not bi.

I have decided to stay in the marriage and be a Lesbian in a Mixed Oreintation Marriage. My husband knows and is supportive and accepts me for who I am. Yes finding a decent woman for a relationship is hard. But I think it will be worth it in the end.

it depends with you tho, are you not sure bcause you don't want to be lesbian and there fore seeking answers as to how not to be or are you really unsure . If you are quite happy 2 b lesbian then just experimet a bit.

girl dont freak out im studying to be a psychologist and actually the things you are feelings are totally normal,,, girls are prone and more likely to like the same sex then guys actually,,, im finding reason besides the fact that a womens body is so beautiful and girls are gentle and caring

you see girls are often attracted to girls because the are so motherly and some times sweet! and lesbian woman have a different way of thinking than men and also strait women! they often had a bad relationship with a guy so they have no choice but to pick something different! at least you are not that guy who tried to fu*k a sheep! and your not attracted to something weird like an emu!
