Can I stop my period from coming?

miss the summer Asked by texmom97 7 months ago, 3 answers.

If I skip the white pills of my yasmin and just continue on with a new month of pills, will that alter the effect of my birth control and will it keep me from having my period at that time I am suppose to.

I have only seen birth control pills one time, but if you are talking about the 7 different colored pills at the end of the month, they don't do anything, they are really just there to help you remember to take them every day.
It really should not affect your period. The only birth control that I know of that might affect your period is depo-provera, the shot. I had that and my periods just stopped, which I really didn't mind, cause I really hate them, lol.

I know the last pills are placebos. All pills are different. I have tried my share of BC, I am 37 years old, so I know about them and how they work, but this is something I have never tried before. Suggesting that I get a tampon or a pad was just immature. I am asking a serious question and need a serious answer. Thanks.
