Find some activities you can engage in. Your friends don't have to be 21 or be bar hoppers to be people you can enjoy spending time with. PErsonally I had the same problem when I moved after my divorce. I joined the Fire Department (which I don't suggest for everyone) but it gave me people to talk to that I had things in commen with. I also started talking to the wives and girlfriends of some of the guys, which gave me some more friends. Even if you just go to a senior center to play Canasta you're doing something you like, spending time with people etc etc etc
ok, being an wife of an ex-soldier myself, I know how hard it can be. normally on the base they have a community, family housing etc, why not try and make friends with some people there?
I used to hang out with my husbands mates too (I'm a tomboy at heart!) ...
must be hard...I hope things have improved for you, bt life changes all the time, just roll with the punches and embrace inevitable change...

All my friends are gone..

I'm 21 years old..I live in a small town..Theres really not much to do around here other than go to a movie, shop,or go to the bars..Recently all my friends have left town to live somewhere else..I feel like I have NO friends at all now..The only person I ever hang out with is my boyfriend..Seeing my boyfriend takes effort...Hes in the military so he is usually out of town working..so we see each other on the weekends..some weekends he has to work and doesnt even make it in..How can I make some new friends when I live in such a small town with limited opportunities??
