Algebra homework

Hey im stumped on some algebra problems, I got 40 done, these are the ones I cant figure out on my homework, can anyone help me out here?
5x2 - 10x
6y2 – 54
p^4 – 1

it's factoring completely, im stumped ( the dashes are subtraction signs)

is it find x or why if it is then the answers are
1. 5x2=10 , 10-10x=0 , -10x=-10 x=1
2.6y x2=8y , 8y=54 , y=54/8 ( iam not sure for this one )
3. I dont know this one iuam so sorry

^ means raised to a power of something like 2^3 2 raised to the 3rd power. :]] lol
