I've been to Anchorage, yeah its a bit less crowded with people haha, and very relaxed and calm. good fishing spots, the weather isnt the best hahah but what do you expect... ITS ALASKA after all!
the weather in summer is something like 20-25C. not very hot, but im not sure about the winter... my dad was there in the end of winter and it was around -5C so I wouldnt say its that bad really. but I dont know.
