I think the real age should be put, putting your age isn't going to allow people to kidnap you. Providing a lot of personal information about yourself is what allows someone to locate you. If you are caught lieing about your age, you can get nuked from sites for not being truthful. Someone knowing your real age and your real town probley aren't going to find out who you are, think about the odds...

I think it is your own responsiblilty to know how to protect yourself from internet predators so I think you should be able to put up your real age but be safe about it. Most young girls now adays are not very bright and are even willing to meet somebody off the internet. I think that it is a choice of wheather or not there is a maturity level and if you can actually comperhend what is happening and how to act. I don't personally think somebody can get kidnapped just by giving their age but I think if they are willing to give out personal information then they probably will get stalked or kidnappedd

well if you really think about it they can get kidnapped either way and so it does not really make a difference they should not be giving their addresses away though.

giving out your age doesn't give kidnappers any information that would let them kidnap you. giving out you address, or saying your full name and/or what state you live in is however very dangerous. you might think you are inviting your cool myspace buddy over but really, your probably going to regret ever giving out your personal information.
