after that I started talking to the guy im talking to now he's 22 though = / I dont feel like it matters...hes just regular to me...hes not a grown asss man and im not a little girl..I feel like im that age but I dont know... people might see it differently and I dont really care but I want my family too meet him but im scared theyre a little disfuctional...what do I do?

he was talkin to another girl and we were unofficial last year... we had sex but not often so I know hes not usin me... I feel like we're very much in love... after a few months I told him I couldnt take the situation no more but he came back and I gave him the ultimatum and he told me d things will get better and they did now him and her are nothin more than acquaintances ... age aint nuthin but a number to me most of my friends are like 18- 2? so its not really weird ..I've always been mature for my age I know people probley think what does he want from me but ... damn I love him and im pretty sure he loves me back..

and oh yea one more problem I think his family doesnt like me and I have somewhat of a fear being around them..what can I do to help that?

Okay I was with a man when I was 16 and guess what he was 22. women have higher mentality rates then men so of course we are attracted to the older ones,
that seem mature, trust me on this. He might seem dreamy and everything eles. but after a while you will see that age really does make a difference. you want to experience your childhood, do you think a 22 year old is going to think your mature when you want to go roller blading with friends or play pool? No, and he can go to the bar you cant.. its just not a good idea. have someone close to our age to grow up with and grow love with .

it sometimes does matter with age because the person whos older could be put in jail for going out with someone younger especially if you guys are getting intimat and things like that..if your family is disfunctionate then you may have a chance in pulling off them meeting him lol. but I dont think you should risk anything,if he loves you iam sure he can wait till your 18 then it doesnt matter from there.

being 16 and being with a man thats 22 is a big deal but not that big of a deal. if you guys really like each other, then you should keep your relationship really on a down low because HE can get in trouble for sacturary rape or whatever you spell it lol. once you hit the age of 18, then you can do whatever you want and its perfectly normal I guess...

One of my friends was 17 when she started going out with a 36 year old man. She's nearly 19 now and they're getting married in 2 weeks, which I think is completely mental. Age differences only matter if you want it to matter. I don't think that a 6 year age gap is too bad at all.
