Age diff- big deal?

slightly concerned about it when I said yes when she asked me out (yes- she asked me out) but soon put it out of my mind, just thinming my self paranoid. but today, only 1 day into our relationship, her friend made a comment on this differance your boyfriend is in grade 12, and your only a freshman.

now im terrifyed for her, I dont want her friends to think shes a sl*t or a wh*re or something. I keep having these thoughts of her becoming ostrisised(sp?) or socialy inept due to her relationship with me.

I want the best for her, and I want her to be all she can be,but if im going to be in the way of that, I will remove my self from the equation for her own good.

Two years is not that big of a gap...I wouldn't worry too much about it.

yeah its not that big of a deal, but I wouldn't have sex with her till she was older, be careful of that! because you can get in big trouble if you have sex with her, because of your age.

well, when it comes to intamint(sp?) relations, I always let the girl make the first move, as I dont want to force her to do anything, nomatter how big or smal it may be- she needs to do it of her own accord, not because of my influence.

grade doesnt matter and the age is sooo not bad considering I dated at 18 year older when I had JUST turn 14. if you like her dont make a big deal out of it and by the way her friends ar just jealous.

well yeah I think you are a good guy, but even if she does want to be intimate, be careful, because if her parents are to find out they would have your butt in jail befor you could say a word.

aw thats sweet your worried for her. Nopee its so normal for girls to date a bit older guys and for guys to date a tad younger girls. When you get older , the age gay gets bigger and 1 year is nothing. All my friends date older guys (1-2 year age differnece) most of the timee and it doesnt make them sluts ! and well when she gets to your year, you cn help her owt with her school wrk and stff since you'v alredy dun that year. (could be a romatic gesture)

its not nessicarily what I fear the most, but what I've been thinking about all the time. as savana pointed out yesterday- as she put it- your a freshman dating at senior. then katy and colin also where talking about it today. personaly, I dont cair, your beautiful, funny, and smart, that all I cair about. but I dont want people talking about you behind your back, and I certinly dont want you to be alienated because of me. I unno. colin knows that we're going out, and he said that its not that big of a deal- which is exactly what my opinon. I unno- im just paranoid about you ending up hurt because of me.

Devin,everyone has the option on the matter but it's what we think about it that matters the most,Katie always talks about me behind my back,she always has I wouldn't expect anything less that from her.People can talk about me all they want,but at the end of the day I have all friends that said to go for it and they will behind me 100% no matter what,Devin I won't end up hurt because you,so don't even think that,Savanna dosen't also relise that our ages aren't that far apart from eachother and that I don't let other people stop me from going out with the people I want to go out with
