We have had a couple of advisors leave then come back as just regular users, I've never seen them come back as an advisor so I'm not really sure if its allowed.
Hmmm...I think you need to ask thedude on this one
Considering that thedude owns this site, I highly doubt he will go deleting and renaming himself as a new advisor. And to answer the question about any other advisor, the answer would be "NO!". If they delete their profile and try to come back as someone else without prearranging this for some extraneous circumstance, then they aren't going to be trusted nor would they be someone we could count on to make informed decisions while advising.
I would like to add that any case like this would be looked at on a case by case basis to be fair to users that might have inadvertently deleted themselves. Appeals can always be made, and we are all reasonable people here. Heck, thedude and I are both Bay Area people, so I would like to think that we are extremely oversensitive to the plights of our fellow Funfolk.

I think she meant, will thedude do that as in, "will thedude re-promote you after you have deleted your account and made a new one", not really would he delete himself lol.
Yeh.. editor knows what I mean.. l0l

Advisors?
I'm just curious.. but if an advisor deletes their profile. And later they make a new profile for whatever reason, will they still remain as an advisor? Will thedude do that?
