It's hard. I pretty much stopped applying at companies that perform background checks, but then again, that is really cowardly of me. It seemed to be a waste of my time. You have to be willing to try to get someone to listen to you and be able to explain your situation. Hopefully you will eventually apply with someone who is sympathertic. It never hurts to apply, even though it is frustrating. Hand in there. I wish I could help you better. I ended up working for myself.

How can I get a job with great credentials but a felony?

I am a female in my early 30's. I have 4 years of college studies and about 8 years of work experience in office management and restaurant management prior to getting a felony for a domestic violence crime. I am having a hard time finding a job . What advice can you suggest.
