How do you go about adopting children from different countries? what would you need to be considered a good adoptive parent?

I was just watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition or whatever it's called, and they had like 7 adopted hatian kids. Of course...

I want children of my own but I also want to adopt.

I would make a call to maybe the domestic relations and maybe they could give you more info. or atleast point you in the right direction
