Maybe it is for the best that you dont know. I really nderstand where you are coming from because my friend went through the same thing. She is 15 now but wishes she never knew anything about her mother because she was only a crack adduict... but things maybe nbe differetn but she just cares about you and doesnt want you gettin hurt..
well thats something really important for you to know...she could be an a$s hole not telling you or she is afraid you will leave her to go to your real mom...or maybe she doesnt know anything...either way to get the truth out...u need to get a little extreme and threaten to run away or something in that vacinity...
sometimes when you are finding resistance on that subject it is probably in your own best interests that she doesn't answer.
not all child -real mother reunions result in tearful hugs and kisses.
I wouldn't push the subject too much- your adopted mother might be protecting you from an awful truth.
but who knows.
the saying careful what you wish for, comes to mind.
wow these guys are right...so donttake my advice unless you really think about it and have thought through all the outscomes and what would be best
Dear fau,
When you become 18 you will legally be able to see your papers and there may be information there about your biological parents. They have to also sign saying that they can be found. If they do not sign you will not be allowed to see this info no matter how old you are.
Sue...good luck
