Activity ideas

I am looking for activity ideas for a 12 year old boy who doesn't like arts and crafts.

most 12 year old boys like to play sports. they could like x-box or that kind of stuff.

Yes this boy is very into sports and video games. I am going to be babysitting occaisionaly and with it being very cold outside and sometimes a break from video games is good I was hoping for an idea. My talents run towards the crafty, no help in this situation. Thanks for the input.

WHEN IT COME TO BOYS AND SCHOOL THEY HARDLY EVER GOES TOGETHER.
BUT IF you WANT ACTIVITY FOR THEM TO HERE IS A FUN ONE:
TRY MIXING SPORTS WITH ART AND CRAFT-----INSTEAD OF HAVING THEM IN A CLASS ROOM TAKE THEM OUT SIDE ON THE FIELD TO VIEW VARIOUS OUT DOORS ACTIVITY AND THEN BRING THEM BACK TO CLASS AND HAVE THEM DRAW WHAT THEY HAVE OBSERVED. GOOD LUCK TELL ME THE OUT COME.

Some children that age like to carve things out of wood. The public library has books on that if he is interested. Also they like to work on bikes, changing tires and taking them apart and then putting them back together. I know of 2, 12 year olds who crochet, one of them also knots. This is not a sissy project if a lot of you out there are thinking that. I don't like to see children sitting in front of a tv playing games all the time.
